At THUNDER IN THE HILLS you can shoot at very large High Explosive targets.
We also have exploding targets for rimfire, pistols, and even exploding clays
for shotgun shooters.

Binary Exploding Targets
Binary exploding targets are a two part mix that is safe and non
toxic as shipped. Targets are mixed just prior to use on your shooting range, or
a clear, safe, remote area.
THESE TARGETS ARE NOT TOYS, treat them with the same respect that you treat
your firearms. Designed for and legal for adult use only. Targets can result in the loss of life
or limb! They are very fun and are as safe as you treat them. Treat them with
respect. We are not
responsible if misused or stored improperly. Purchaser of these targets MUST
follow ALL instructions on the label of each target.
Our targets, assembled or unassembled, cannot be set off with fuse or fire.
Only the impact of a high velocity bullet will set off these targets.
These targets will NOT work with Black Powder arms, and most pistols.
The targets below require a bullet velocity of at least 2000 FPS "at the target"
to work properly.
Legalities of binary exploding targets
Binary exploding targets are NOT classified as an explosive until
mixed. Once mixed, they are considered to be explosive material and
subject all explosive requirements. Anyone who combines binary explosive
targets for their own private use is NOT considered to be a manufacturer of
explosives and not subject to the law. If the purchaser of binary exploding
targets meets all the requirements below, and is not engaged in the business of
manufacturing the binary targets for sale or distribution they are exempt from
the law.
BY PURCHASING TARGETS YOU AGREE TO AND WILL
ABIDE WITH THE FOLLOWING
To remain within the law purchasers of binary exploding
targets MUST BE:
A U.S. citizen,
21 years of age or older,
Not an unlawful user of, or addicted to any controlled substance,
Not convicted of a felony or any crime punishable for a term longer than one
year,
Not under indictment for a crime punishable for a term longer than one year,
Not a fugitive from justice,
Not been adjudicated mentally defective,
To remain within the law purchasers of binary exploding
targets MUST:
USE TARGETS at the time of mixing.
USE TARGETS for their personal use and enjoyment only.
NEVER STORE targets after mixed.
NEVER TRANSPORT targets after mixed.
NEVER ATTEMPT TO FLY with targets, even unassembled as shipped.
Have fun, be responsible, and be considerate of your neighbors.
Place targets no closer than 150 feet from any person or thing that could be
damaged by the explosion of the target. The target itself will cause small rocks
to become small bullets of their own that will fly in all directions from the target.
All target kits are shipped ground only and will take longer
than a standard package.
TARGETS ONLY SHIPPED TO THE LOWER 48 STATES.

These reactive targets WILL start a fire
in dry grass. This kit will produce a large explosion, white flash and
sparks, and a Hollywood type fireball when hit with a bullet.
Obviously designed for cleared and/or prepared areas only. You
must have a cleared area approximately 20' around the target. |

These targets will explode when hit with
most all rimfire and pistol rounds. A personal favorite, the fat
and slow .45ACP has trouble setting off a target at distances over 10
yards, but we are working on this --- we'll let you know when testing is
finished. |

Our clay reactive targets attach to your
clays to save you money. We recommend that you DO NOT use
automatic launchers.
Launch only one clay at a time for safety. |

reactive targets and they are not completed at this time. A target

| SMOKE TARGETS |

Also designed for the long distance
precision shooter, we have our our "Smoke Targets". Most
shooting ranges will not allow "exploding targets". These targets
do not explode, but produce volumes of smoke when struck by a bullet.
No need for a spotting scope when you hit your target. These
targets are pyrotechnic, however we have never had a problem with a
target causing a fire in dry grass. These targets are being tested
out to 500 yards with 5.56mm and .308 ammunition of all types, and 1,000
with a .50 |
