THE HILLS Dynamite Shoot ALL NEW OPI GUN CLUB PRICES AND RULES All OPI Gun Club members must now also be NRA members. You can sign up for the NRA, or renew your NRA membership at the OPI shooting range and save on both memberships at the same time. We have shooting lanes out to 200 yards. SHOOTING RANGE RENTAL INFORMATION OPI has set aside a 13-15 acre area for our private, membership only shooting range. A membership only Gun Club, and limited guests for insurance purposes, and as OPI is a licensed high explosive and firework manufacturer, access to our property must be restricted and supervised. When finished, members and two guests can enjoy rock solid covered shooting benches, rifle and pistol, out to 200 yards. We are still testing our Moving Madman pistol targets, and are having trouble with the electronics, but we will figure it out. Shooting lanes where people can shoot at not only moving targets, but targets that will move AT YOU, and you are moving too. As they move at you they are, through pyrotechnic simulation, shooting back at you too! It will be very loud and bright, just like real gunfire, to increase the stress level to the shooter. You have to hit the target exactly "center mass" to stop the attacker or he continues at you -- all the while he is still shooting at you. If he overruns you!!!!? Are you up to the challenge? When we are not holding special events we allow all "legal" private weapons on our range. Owners of fully automatic weapons must supply a copy of their form 4 for our records and insurance. 50 caliber shooters note the 200 yard max distance, but they will be allowed on our range, for now. Time will only tell on the continued use of 50 caliber weapons. We schedule most explosive testing for weekends, usually only one or two tests. This may interrupt "normal" shooting for a short period of time while we setup, conduct a test, and take notes on the results. Cameras may be restricted during these test periods. Our tests may be high explosive, low explosive, or pyrotechnic in nature that have nothing do to with firearms. RANGE FEES
Firearm rental and ammunition is available! * The "Hillbilly Shootin' range" is not completed at this time. This is a clay target shoot where participants go on a short "walking tour" through thick woods and shoot at clay targets that come from the front, sides, and rear, with no set timing. ** Daily range fees are included for each shooter that purchases at least 10 one pound exploding rifle targets at the retail price, which is currently $7.00 each. There is an additional charge if we have to set up the targets for you. Members and non-members can purchase as many sets of targets, after the initial 10, as they would like to shoot at for the day, or to take home with them. *** Exploding Clay Pigeons, Rimfire, and Pistol targets are available by special request only. Shooting at these exploding targets are a service provided item on our range. Try shooting at a rimfire or pistol target swinging from a line! Fun! **** Range rental is per day and open to anyone, not just Gun Club Members. Price includes use of the range, shooting equipment, and land area as well as restrooms, all other products, including food, drinks, ammunition, fireworks, and exploding targets must be purchased separately. There is not a kitchen on site, but the catering of all types of food, not just BBQ, is available. YES!!!!!! You can can
bring items to be blown up with exploding targets here at the range.
There will be a charge for each item that is blown up, usually about
$10-$15.00 for small items and up to $50 for refrigerator larger
size items. We have to set up the item, and then clean up the
mess when you're gone, but you can sure bring things that you want
to watch "disappear" before your eyes.
Call ahead and ask us first about the item as some things, such as a
live politician, are not allowed on the range :) ABOUT EXPLODING TARGET SHOOTING

RANGE RENTAL FOR A PRIVATE PARTY OR Our shooting range is available to rent for your private party. Food catering is available upon request. The rental price is for the whole day and into
the evening, 10:00 pm on weekdays, midnight on Friday and Saturday.
We will allow alcohol (brought in by you) to be
served at your private party if there are FIREWORKS FOR YOUR PRIVATE PARTY ONLY FIREWORKS PURCHASED FROM OPI's year round
location can be used here. You can purchase your fireworks from OPI and fire
them off yourself during the Missouri firework seasons. If you would like a private professional firework
display/show for your private party, we can arrange this too! CALL US, to host your private party, wedding
party, company party, or any other special event. We can provide
your party with a private location, restrooms, canopy tents, drinks,
plus -- Food, Fun, and Fireworks for your special event. |
