Terms of Sale and Shipping Information

Currently OZARK PYROTECHNICS, INC (OPI) is only shipping our Black Powder supplies, and Exploding Targets. Targets will only be shipped to the lower 48 states. Theatrical Special Effects will be shipped as soon as they become available, however most will require a signed and current copy of a Type 19 or Type 20 BATFE license.

All other other firework and hazardous products must be picked up at Hartville, or seasonal firework stands.
NOTE: Black Powder and other products can only be sold from our Hartville shooting range office.

WE WILL NOT KNOWINGLY SHIP ANY PRODUCT WHERE WE KNOW THAT THEY ARE ILLEGAL!

For our product pick up customers. It is Federally legal for:

An individual to transport not more than 50 pounds of Black Powder in 1-pound cans.

An individual can also transport not more than 1,000 pounds of consumer fireworks (gross weight). If you are purchasing consumer fireworks know this. This 1,000-pound federal limit will fill the back of a long bed pickup or large van, and would be one hell of a firework show.

Anything over these amounts and you will be in violation of Federal Law. There are numerous other restrictions at the local level that we cannot track. Knowing what you are doing before you do it can keep your purchase from being confiscated, at the very least. We are not responsible if you violate the law.

Our whole goal at OPI is to give our customers the best value for their dollar. We will also ship products by the cheapest method that we can find to save you additional money. USPS, the cheapest way and will be mailed if possible. Once your order is mailed it is in the hands of the of the government. As scary as that sounds to you, rest assured that it will arrive. Also know that due to the nature of the items we sell, that most items must go by ground only, and will take longer than a regular package or envelope.

Most items are shipped within 24 to 48 hours. The customer will be notified by email within 72 hours if shipping will be delayed for any reason.

Purchasers of exploding targets must be legal USA citizens 21 or over, (proof may be required) not be convicted of a felony, not adjudicated mentally defective, not be a fugitive from justice, is not under indictment for a crime punishable by one year or more imprisonment, not a user of or addicted to any controlled substance, and there are no other local laws which prevent them from owning or possessing this product. Purchaser also agrees that targets will only be mixed and used as a target on the same day. Assembled targets will NEVER be stored in anyway, or transported in a motor vehicle. Again, the customer must use targets at the time of mixing to remain within the law.

Neither OPI nor the shipping agent(s) know the exact laws for the customers specific area of the country, and laws change frequently. We are not responsible if your purchase is confiscated, or if you are arrested or fined for the products that you order, nor will your money be returned, all sales are final. Check with your local Fire Marshall, they will be glad to answer any question that you may have about the laws for your area.
